We believe in building productive, supportable software systems by using a best of breed approach to the components required.

Our systems offer the choice of using either MS SQL Server or Oracle as the host database and use the latest technologies such as the MS .NET architecture. We also integrate Business Objects Crystal Reports; JMP from SAS Institute; LimsLink from Labtronic and Northwest Analytical Quality Analyst as required.

Labtronics interfacing solutions deliver sample results from your laboratory instruments to the Matrix result database. Communication can be uni or bi-directional. Zumatrix uses the LimsLink family of products to set up instrument "runs" with the identity of samples to test and then to capture and upload results, when they are available in a user friendly, seamless manner.

Whether you are capturing data from a single balance or implementing a global solution for laboratory automation, we have the solutions, the experience and the expertise to meet your needs.

JMP is a complete statistics software package developed by SAS Institute. Zumatrix have interfaced their workstation software to Matrix such that the data set to be analyzed by JMP can be defined in a Matrix screen, extracted from the database and then passed to JMP for analysis and display. As SAS is widely used within FDA regulated industries, this is a good choice to calculate the results of stability studies as well as batch-to-batch variations.

Zumatrix have partnered with Thomas A. Little Consulting (TLC), who is a nationally recognized expert in Statistical and Analytical methods for research and process control. TLC has developed specific JMP scripts for evaluating data from stability and shelf-life testing in accordance with FDA guidelines. We provide a convenient, easy to use interface between the Matrix database and JMP, which allows you to select the data to be analyzed by the JMP script. The script informs you if the data from multiple batches can be pooled or if they must be analyzed separately and then calculates the predicted shelf-life.

Barcode Data Systems www.bdscorp.com

More LIMS and sample tracking systems use barcode technology to speed data entry activities and to reduce errors. All Matrix software is barcode compatible and many of our existing customers employ barcode printing and reading. As with most technologies, the hardware and software associated with barcodes is changing frequently and Zumatrix wants to provide you with the latest advice on hardware (printers / readers); barcode fonts and label stock. These choices can be critical to the success of a project. We partner with Barcode Data Systems to bring you the best information possible. They have great expertise to share and to make your Matrix system even more productive.
